The Start to a Knockout Day- Getting Ready- Tate House, GA
Getting Ready and Details- two chapters in a couples day that starts telling the story of the wedding day . Our couple rented neighboring cabins in the Big Canoe community in North Georgia. This perfect situation allowed us to keep in close communication with the guys while the ladies were getting ready. We all drove to the Tate House together for the final touches. This was a fun morning.
Favorite images: the house-shoes and painted toes, the dance party on the bride’s bed, and the first look with the bride’s grandparents and parents (they married each other at the Tate House back in the day).
We are featuring a wedding here that was a destination for us; that’s right, the Tate House was such a treat for us with all the mansion feels and very tailored landscaping. There is a staircase at every turn, intimate spaces at every corner and such adorable buildings placed on the property. The girls got dressed in this two-story space that was incredible for so many reasons; check out the room for the bride to get her dress on- so plush and cute, and we are especially in love with the upstairs entrance that looks a little like a hobbit house. This venue is magical. It would be easy to feel like a princess.
Side note: the food at The Tate House was hot, delicious, and well proportioned. It was such a treat to sit down to a mouthwatering dinner. It was a perfect reset to pump us up and get ready for the dance floor.
