Two Ceremonies, One Wedding: An American & Persian Wedding on a Private Farm in Blue Ridge, Georgia

Sometimes rain is the last thing a bride wants, but there is nothing like it to bring people together and keep them there, all cozied up in the barn to join two souls in a holy union. As a Blue Ridge Mountains wedding photographer, we get a front row seat to days like this one, and this wedding is exactly why we love what we do. This was a traditional American ceremony paired with a Sofreh Aghd, the traditional Persian ceremony that opened the day - a rare and beautiful thing to witness as two families brought their full histories into one room. It was a day packed full of tears, tradition, and warmth.

Blending Traditions: An American Ceremony and a Persian Sofreh Aghd

The day started with the Sofreh Aghd, a beautifully laid spread rich in symbolism, family, and centuries of Persian tradition. Every detail on that table meant something, and watching the families gather around it set the tone for everything that followed. Later, the couple stepped into a classic American ceremony under the same barn roof, rain still coming down outside. Two ceremonies, two traditions, one couple choosing to honor where they both come from all without leaving the farm.

The Ring Exchange and Reception Moments to Remember

The entire day is told here in under 70 images. Look for those touches, especially the ring exchange. Look for those laughs. A wedding day is filled with your closest friends and your precious family, and being brought into that circle is an honor every single time. We thank you for your trust, and we can't wait to share more weddings like this one.
