Mountain Cabin Elopement with Kids | Family Wedding in the Blue Ridge Mountains

Calling all kids!!!

When children are involved in the wedding day, everything gets a little sweeter. Children bring a grounded aspect to the day and bring out such sweetness and excitement. The two little boys at this elopement got ready with their new father-to-be and it was adorable. The boys got ready downstairs, doing ‘dude stuff’ like buttons and socks; but all three of those guys were just eager to see Mommy.

Our sweet bride got ready upstairs, in a beautiful room overlooking the mountains. When the two littles came up to see her for the first time, they screamed in excitement. After delivering a gift for her, they helped with the finishing touches, like shoes (and lots of hugs and kisses).

We love these elopements. These sweet times with just family at the gathering. There is the leftover cake for breakfast- why not? The little guys can eat some animal crackers during the ceremony! Everything can happen early or late. The timing is the newlyweds and the newlyweds alone.
