Luxury Cabin Small Family Wedding in Blairsville, Georgia

Sometimes we get inquiries for weddings that make me go goo-goo. This couple made my jaw drop when I first heard their story of falling in love: Their precious family history and their plans for the wedding day made this small family celebration so sweet. 

Flower farms, mountain cabins with treehouses and secret kid’s rooms and best friends- what could be better? They skipped the big wedding, skipped the cake, and created the most unbelievable wedding day for themselves, their 3 boys and their precious family. 

The day started with the girl crew making bouquets and arrangements under a stunning canopy at Whimsy Flower Farm in Blairsville, Georgia. Jennifer, the owner/farmer put so much care and attention to the designs- she even went into the woods to bring in wild cuts. 

I love this start to the story. Best friends were riding together in the back of my truck to cross the creek. Fresh cut flowers were everywhere, the smell of jasmine and clean mountain air surrounding us. 

The couple chose a jewel of a cabin, and when we drove up to the place, we were floored. The space was huge and beautiful and there was a waterfall, a treehouse and several buildings overlooking a fantastic mountain view.
