A Magical West Virginia Wedding at 1920's Gaines Estate

A wedding in a West Virginia field, surrounded by support and loved ones, is a dream. Mix in your children, a gorgeous sunset, and your precious parents; This holy union became magical.

I loved watching the groom all day with his sons, they had such a sweet relationship. Chad and I even ate dinner with the youngest boy and his best friend. We laughed as we listened to their stories of friendship over vegan burgers. The reception was under a canopy and lit by string lights. Heaters were brought in to take the edge off the night air and memories were made. The stars shone down over everything.

The Gaines Estate is a classy 1920’s era mansion located on 192 acres in downtown Fayetteville, WV. The bridal party occupied the downstairs while the menfolk took the top floor. What a place!

We are so in awe of the love story of these two; a story woven over a lifetime. We were honored to document this celebration. Cristy: You are an amazing woman and so beautiful. I could shoot you all day. Thank you for finding us, choosing us, and trusting us.
